Congratulations to our newly qualified doctor
Lukas Ranzinger has successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Fault Diagnosis of Three-Phase Machines Using Frequency Response Analysis” – an impressive contribution to the field of electrical machine condition monitoring.
Supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stephanie Uhrig (Munich University of Applied Sciences, ISES) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Tenbohlen (University of Stuttgart), Lukas developed an innovative method based on Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) to detect faults and aging effects in three-phase machines early and efficiently. His approach supports predictive maintenance, extends machine lifetime, and promotes sustainable energy systems.
We are incredibly proud of Lukas and look forward to seeing all the great things he will achieve in the future!
